Kidd’s Miniature American Shepherd Sales Contract

Breeder (Robert Kidd) and buyer (______________________________________) agree to

enter into this contract under the following binding terms:

The above referenced puppy is a purebred Toy or Miniature American Shepherd. This puppy is AKC registered but being sold as companion/PET ONLY. It is agreed upon that alternate registration will not be obtained & puppy is to be spayed/neutered at age appropriate date. If alternate registration is obtained or dog is bred without permission an additional $5,000 will be paid to breeder.

Purchase price: Buyer agrees to a total purchase price of __________________ for the

above puppy. Breeder will accept a nonrefundable deposit of $400.00, which will be

applied to the purchase price. The above mentioned puppy will be held until the total balance is paid in full. The puppy will be eligible for delivery to buyer at 8 weeks of age. Modes of payment include, PayPal, Venmo, or cash (NO PERSONAL CHECKS). Puppy must be picked up by 8 weeks or additional charges will be incurred. If after a deposit is received, the puppy is rendered undeliverable (accident or sickness) to

buyer, deposit can be applied to another available puppy, or applied to puppy from a

future litter, refund option at breeder discretion.

Shipping: Puppy can be shipped at buyers request. Shipping Cost is usually around $400.00 for Pet Nanny to fly to your nearest airport. Breeder will make necessary

shipping arrangements and coordinate with buyer. At all times, shipping arrangements

will be made with the welfare of the puppy as the prime consideration. Shipping is out of

Knoxville, TN or Lexington KY. Buyer is welcome to fly into either airport mentioned above and breeder will meet with puppy free of charge for pickup.

Health Guarantee: We guarantee your new puppy is free of genetic defects for a period of 12 months (1 year). If your puppy were to develop any problems caused by genetics we will replace said puppy with one of like sex and color at the next available breeding. No money will be refunded. Any claim of a defect must be accompanied with written proof from a licensed veterinarian. Breeder warranties that the puppy is in good health & free of communicable diseases at pickup. Puppy will be up to date on vaccinations, dewormings and will have had a veterinary examination prior to delivery. Buyer has 48 hours to have the puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian for general health from delivery date. (excluding weekends or holidays.) Failure to have the puppy examined will void this warranty. Breeder accepts no liability for communicable disease 48 hours after the puppy leaves the possession of the breeder. If the puppy does not pass a general health exam, buyer will notify the breeder within 48 hours and provide documentation of the licensed veterinarian’s findings upon exam, puppy is to be returned within 48 hours & will be replaced with a puppy of equal value, when one becomes available. It is understood that coccidiosis, giardia, campylobacter, worms & kennel cough are common problems in puppies, particularly when they are under stress. These conditions will not be covered by this warranty. Every effort will be made to prevent these conditions. Buyer understands that the breeder is not responsible for the buyer’s veterinary expenses under any circumstances. It is understood by the owner that some vaccinations have been given already by the breeder. The puppy will need to follow up with their regular veterinarian to receive any other vaccines and/or deworming due.

Optional Extension Addendum:

Due to varying kinds of dogfood and different environmental conditions that puppies can come in contact with; and the fact that all puppies have immune systems that take time to mature, we HIGHLY recommend NuVet Plus immune system builder to help them maintain optional health.

We are so confident Nuvet Plus will benefit your new puppy; We will extend this guarantee by 12 months (1 year).

To qualify for this guarantee extension you must give your new puppy NuVet Plus, using the manufacturer's recommended daily dosage, for the entire guaranteed period. Failure to do so makes this guarantee extension null and void. We also highly recommend you continue to give your pet NuVet Plus beyond the guarantee period to promote optimal health for a lifetime.
